The Story

The Hanger Glove was born from a woman's frustration while trying to organize her closet. 

Andrea Howard had become impatient with having to constantly pick-up clothes that had fallen off her hangers onto her closet floor. She was also fed-up with finding hanger marks on her clothes.  Andrea wanted her and her husband’s clothes – not just favorite items, but all the items in the closet – to look neat and unblemished, and the hangers she was using just weren’t doing the trick.

She began looking for an answer.  Her first inclination was to go shopping and look for another hanger that would solve her problems.  However, after much wasted time and money, and still no solution, Andrea decided to take matters into her own hands.

After various mixes of prototypes, colors and multiple trial uses by friends and family, the Hanger Glove made it to the production line in late 2008.  Just as Andrea had hoped, the Hanger Glove became the perfect solution – turning the impractical hangers she already owned into valuable hangers she could actually use.   The Hanger Glove stretched to fit all hangers; from high-quality wooden ones, to cheap plastic ones, to the wire ones used by dry-cleaners.  It truly was love at first stretch!

 

Andrea's inspiration for Hanger Glove:

"I never felt like I was asking too much to be able to purchase a product like the Hanger Glove.  All I wanted was something that would keep my clothes on the hangers, off my closet floor, not leave shoulder bumps and sag marks, and allow me to recycle my existing hangers. How hard could it be?  Now every time I flip through my closet deciding what to wear, nothing slips off the hanger and onto the floor. I never have to worry about wearing a top that looks twisted or sloppy.  The Hanger Glove was my investment in the care of my family's clothes.  Give the Hanger Glove a try, and invest in the care of your clothes!"
